25 July 2021 - Smoking and Vaping On Site - The only designated areas that visitors and members may smoke are to the left of the telephone box, by the pavilion, and on a visitor's or member's own site.

25 July 2021 - Looking for a staycation, why not try a stay with us? There's plenty to see and do, in and around our club. New to naturism? Fear not, we've all had first time doubts, but you won't look back when you've experienced the freedom!

21 July 2021 - Members Only - Whilst getting yourselves some periods of shade from the sun, you may like to read the Club History from Pre-War to Pandemic. Recently published by BN, and available in the Information section of the Members Area.

19 July 2021 - We've said it before, we'll say it again - how on earth can anyone wear clothes in this hot weather? We're so happy to peel off our clothes and instantly get cool. Removing soggy, sticky garments - bliss. Stay cool all!

17 July 2021 - Take care out there in that hot sunny weather! Make sure you frequently drink plenty of water and keep topping up on that sun cream. Also, keep some shade close by to cool off regularly. Enjoy the sun safely and stay safe all!

13 July 2021 - If you are planning to visit us, you should make yourself aware of the Covid restrictions that are in place for Wales. They may be very different to those in place in your home country. Better aware than fined. Stay safe all.

With the on-going situation with the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to improve we have taken the decision to take bookings for visitors from 28th May 2021.

Please use our booking enquiry page to request a booking.

Whilst Western Sunfolk are taking enquiries for future stays, it MUST be noted that bookings will remain subject to Welsh Government rules and guidelines that are in operation at ALL times.

Western Sunfolk cannot be held responsible, or held liable, for any Government restriction that may come into place before, or during, a planned break that may cause us to withdraw or cancel a booking.

NOTE: Holidays are booked at visitors own risk.

Oh No, Not Again! Yes, unfortunately, we have had to make the decision to postpone this celebration for another year.

Regular visitors to this site will be aware that we should have been celebrating an 85th Birthday, with year long celebrations taking place during the 2020 season. Unfortunately, the Covid 19 pandemic severely curtailed our planning and even caused the closure of our club to all, for a period of time.

Planning was well underway for the 2021 season, but that has been brought to a halt.

So, pandemic permitting, we plan to deliver year-long activities and celebrations in 2022. We will keep you informed of events and their dates via the What's On page.

Local things to see and do

Within easy reach of our club is Tintern Abbey, Symonds Yat, the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean.

Recreational facilities in the area include walking, canoeing, horse riding, and cycling.

Many of the nearby towns boast medieval castles and hold regular pageants etc. during summer months.

At Western Sunfolk we have a very active social calendar with many events taking place throughout the year.

We have facilities to cater for those who enjoy a more active holiday with a large heated, and covered, swimming pool and miniten courts, or if you fancy something more relaxing there are extensive sunbathing areas and plenty of open area to take a quiet leisurely stroll.
